HAZEL

Hazel was among the senior ladies living in the apartment building where Vala's father, Jacek, had taken up residence upon his arrival on Earth. Jacek held Bingo sessions for money on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for the senior ladies in the building, and Hazel participated in the games, although she quickly saw through Jacek's scam and only grudgingly paid the money she owed. Jacek rationalized that money "confuses" her when it's going out.
