On P3R-118, those selected as workers were given a memory stamp which erased all past memories and replaced them with a new personality, ensuring compliance as they labored in an underground facility to supply power to the domed city above. SG-1 was subjected to the procedure and detained on the planet as workers, taking on the personalities of Jona (O'Neill), Therra (Carter), Carlin (Daniel), and Tor (Teal'c).
