SISTER ANN

Sister Ann was the Mother Superior of an orphanage in North Africa and an acquaintance of MacGyver's. After an earthquake in the region had damaged the church's organ, MacGyver was able to repair it, and he also brought along medicines and a secret surprise, a playground for the children.

Sister Ann was also an acquaintance of Sara Ashford, who provided clothing for the orphanage, and she introduced Sara to MacGyver when she needed help to break Brian Ashford out of prison. Undoubtedly Sister Ann, who wished only to help, never knew that Sara was in fact a Soviet agent and Brian a crooked arms dealer.

Once MacGyver discovered the true nature of Sara and Brian's relationship, MacGyver and Sara thwarted Brian's attempt to sell his weapons to terrorists by blowing up the entire cache of weapons and confiscating the briefcase of cash left behind by the Nigerian buyers.

Later, MacGyver and Sara returned to the orphanage, and they presented Sister Ann with the briefcase of cash to be used for the care of the children.
