KHAN

Khan was a prisoner in Harosh Prison in North Africa. He held a position of authority by acting as an informant to the corrupt Commandant, and he maintained control over the other prisoners by using the intimidating presence of another prisoner, Fuad, as his personal enforcer. He also ran a PCP lab out of his cell, selling his product on the outside.

When MacGyver got himself sent to Harosh Prison as part of his scheme to break Brian Ashford out of the maximum-security facility, he was befriended by François Villars, a French prisoner who warned him to be cautious of Khan and his dog Fuad. Khan took an interest in the new prisoner, assuming that MacGyver was a drug dealer or smuggler and easily manipulated, and MacGyver used that to his advantage by offering to double Khan's PCP output in exchange for half an hour with Brian Ashford. Khan agreed and promptly reported the arrangement to the Commandant.

Under the pretext of improving the PCP lab, MacGyver rigged a time-delay fuse and created the sound effect of a helicopter. As the Commandant prepared for an aerial assault, MacGyver blew up Khan's PCP lab and escaped with Brian Ashford through the main gate. Furious that he had been duped, the Commandant ordered that Khan would spend the remainder of his sentence in an isolation cell.
